Soups to Warm Up Winter

Thank you Idahoan® Steakhouse® Soups for sponsoring this post. Grab yourself a bowl and celebrate National Soup Month with me!

Did you know January is National Soup Month?  So I declare January to be my absolute favorite month because soup is my jam! Plus, its cold and we just need a little warming up this winter.

We are currently knee deep into moving to a new house and it has been crazy to say the least. We are only 5 minutes from our old house so it does make it convenient to do a bit each day. We have lived at the same house for 16 years and it is amazing how much stuff you can accumulate over that amount of time. Plus, just before the big move day it snowed and then a few days after it snowed again. But we are on the home stretch and will be finished up all the little details this week. But that means when dinner time rolls around we are scratching our heads at what to fill our bellies. These Idahoan®Steakhouse® Soups are just the ticket to get a good wholesome meal on the table without a lot of fuss. Idahoan Steakhouse Soups are available in four delicious varieties: Loaded Potato, Creamy Potato, Cheddar Broccoli and Cheddar Potato. They give you the flavorful, slow-cooked taste of restaurant-quality soup at home, in just five minutes.

These soups bring together real, red Idaho® potatoes with flavorful seasonings and rich cheeses to provide a creamy taste in every spoonful. All you have to do is add water.

We had so much fun with these soups as we loaded them up with toppings. While they were simmering, I got to work on some toppings. Shredded cheese, bacon pieces, diced green onion, and of course some Seasoned Soup Crackers.  Everyone grabbed their bowl and loaded them up.

Within minutes of arriving home from a long, cold day of packing and moving we sat down to dinner and everyone was happy. Warm hearts and warm bellies, it was comfort food for the soul. How are you warming up this winter?
