Cinnamon Donut Bread Pudding, has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Have you seen these Farm Rich Bakery items, now available at your local Walmart. When I came across their Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes, I knew immediately I had to have them. Not only do these wonderful little gems make a great breakfast or snack, they make one AMAZING bread pudding!
As I was flipping through some of my church cookbooks while planning our 4th of July bash, I kept coming across bread pudding recipes. They literally just kept jumping off the pages at me. So of course bread pudding was on my mind and I was craving it some kind of bad. As soon as I picked up these Farm Rich Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes a light bulb went off in my head and I exclaimed to my husband, "I am making bread pudding with these babies!" He had a look of confusion on his face but he just rolled with it.
Since some of my family was going to be out of town for the 4th of July holiday, we decided to celebrate a little early. Hey, any reason to get us all together to eat and celebrate, we will take it. Of course, I brought all the fun with this dessert!
It was a complete hit and not a speck of it was left to take home. I made sure to serve it warm with a dollop (or two) of cold and creamy vanilla ice cream. Everyone begged me for the recipe as they were eating it. I'd say, it was a winner!
