Happy Friday! Before we get to these amazing recipes I want to send some prayers out to all of those in the path of Hurricane Florence. We are located on the northeast coast of Virginia and have spent about a week preparing for the worst. As of the writing of this post, we are expected to be sparred the worst. That is if she doesn't change her mind again. We have weathered many storms here on the coast but this one was different and a lot more terrifying. If you are of the praying kind, please send some on up for all those affected.

So let's get to the recipes, Instant Pot Chicken & Dumplings from My Fearless Kitchen grabbed the most love from last week's potluck. Comfort food at its finest. Other featured recipes include Hot Pimento Sausage Dip from Grandma Honey's House, Mamaw's Fresh Apple Cake from A Southern Discourse, Twice Baked Spaghetti Squash Marinara from Running in a Skirt, and last but not least, Italian Tortellini Soup from our hostess, Family Fresh Meals.
