Snickers Apple Salad

Years ago I ran across this recipe and just knew it was one I needed to try. I had totally forgotten about it until recently. How in the world could I do that?  It is funny, this food blogging gig keeps me pretty busy thinking up new recipes that I often times forget about those simple, tried and true recipes to share with you.

This Snickers Apple Salad is perfect to take to a potluck, picnic, or to just make as a dessert during the week. It literally takes no time at all to put together. It is as simple as chopping up a couple apples, chopping up the snickers candy bar (bet you can't help but snag a few bites), and then mixing it all up.

One word of advice though, you might want to make a double batch!!

Snickers Apple Salad

1-3.4 oz box instant vanilla pudding
1 cup of milk
1-8 oz container of whipped topping, thawed
2 large apples, chopped
3 king size Snickers bars, chopped

Mix the pudding mix with the milk until combined. Fold in cool whip. Add apples and candy bar and mix until combined. Enjoy!

  2. I have never had this or even heard of it, but it sounds amazing! This would be wonderful for the church potluck, but you are right.... a double batch would be needed... one for the family to eat here at home and one to take to church! :)
