I took the morning off to take my daughter to have preschool graduation pictures done. Its so hard to believe she will be going to kindergarten in the fall. So I thought I would hop on and do a quick post for you. This fruit salad is so easy and yet so good. I am not sure where I got this recipe from but it has become a favorite in our home. This is actually one of those recipes that my son actually requested I make for his birthday one year. So in my book that is a winner.
Lets get to the recipe...
(fruit cocktail, pineapple chunks or tidbits, mandarin oranges, instant vanilla pudding, and whipped topping (do not pay attention to the pudding in the picture, I accidently picked up the wrong box in a rush)
Pour the can of fruit cocktail into a big bowl, juice and all. Pour the instant pudding mix over the fruit cocktail and stir until the pudding dissolves. (I did use instant pudding)
Add the pinnapple chunks and oranges (make sure to drain the liquid from these) and mix well. Fold in the whipped topping and chill before serving. Keep this in the refrigerator. My kids will not wait long so I served right away.
I hope you try this recipe soon, it really is that good. I will be making this again soon because we were supposed to share with my sister and parents, but my kids decided they wanted it all. Thanks for visiting, now I have to go to work!
