EASY HALLOWEEN PUNCH FOR KIDS

Halloween is one of those holidays where you can have so much fun with the food. Everything can be a little spooky, silly, and creepy—and this Witches Brew fits right in!

Years ago, when our son was younger, we co-hosted a Halloween party at a good friend’s house. She had everything planned out with different stations for the kids, and several of the adults dressed up to help make the night extra spooky.

Of course, I was the witch!

I had my cauldron in front of me, stirring away and giving the kids my best evil witch laugh. Apparently, I was pretty convincing because our son still remembers it all these years later—and yes, I can still do that witch laugh!

This easy Witches Brew brings back those fun Halloween memories. Best of all, you only need two ingredients for the punch itself. Add a few creepy garnishes and you have a Halloween party drink everyone will be talking about.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Witches Brew kid-friendly?

Yes! This Witches Brew is completely kid-friendly. It is made with Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch and lemon-lime soda, so there is no alcohol in this recipe.

Can I make Witches Brew ahead of time?

You can chill the Hawaiian Punch and soda ahead of time, but I recommend mixing them together shortly before serving. This will help keep the soda nice and fizzy.

What can I use to decorate Witches Brew?

Have fun with it! Gummy worms are an easy edible option. You can also use Halloween-themed candy or other edible decorations.

Plastic eyeballs, spider rings, and other Halloween toys can make the punch look extra spooky, but make sure everyone knows they are not edible. I would avoid using small non-edible decorations when serving young children.

Can I serve this in a witch’s cauldron?

Absolutely! A food-safe Halloween cauldron or a punch bowl placed inside a decorative cauldron makes a fun presentation for a Halloween party.

Can I add sherbet?

Sure! A few scoops of lime sherbet would give the punch a creamy, frothy appearance and make your Witches Brew look even more bubbly and mysterious.

HOW TO MAKE WITCHES BREW

Pour the Green Berry Rush Hawaiian Punch into a large punch bowl or drink dispenser.

Slowly pour in the lemon-lime soda and gently stir everything together.

Pour into individual glasses and add gummy worms, candy eyeballs, or your favorite spooky Halloween decorations.

Serve immediately and watch all those little ghosts and goblins come running!

TIPS & VARIATIONS

  • Chill everything first. Refrigerate both the Hawaiian Punch and lemon-lime soda before making the punch so you don’t need as much ice.

  • Make spooky ice cubes. Freeze gummy worms or other edible Halloween candies into ice cubes for an extra creepy touch.

  • Add lime sherbet. Scoop some lime sherbet into the punch bowl right before serving for a frothy witches brew.

  • Decorate the glasses. Hang gummy worms over the rims for a simple Halloween presentation.

  • Make it extra spooky. Serve the punch from a Halloween cauldron for the ultimate witches brew effect.

  • Keep little ones safe. If you use plastic eyeballs, spider rings, or other non-edible decorations, be sure they don’t accidentally end up being eaten. For young children, stick with edible decorations.
