Today I am doing something a little different. When I was asked to review a children's book I did not hesitate. I have wanted to write a children's book since I was young. So reviewing a book that is self published with such cute characters was perfect. This book is a great addition to your children's book collection. My daughter found it interesting but more so she tried her best to read the spanish version as well. She is a little older than the targeted age but it kept her interested. I have a few nieces and nephews that would love this for Christmas.
So cute!
The cute colorful characters will keep any child entertained.
This was the cutest illustration with all the characters napping on the treehouse.

Tim discovered the power of bilingual books while visiting Japan as a teenager. In 2011 he published his first dual language children's book in 7 different foreign languages as a tool for increasing cultural awareness and gaining new perspectives. Bosley Bear has since become popular among US and international readers, providing a fantastic way for children to learn a second language in a fun, easy and natural way.
A product design engineer by trade, Tim's quest for knowledge and understanding is a daily pursuit. He continues to broaden the horizons of children as a martial arts instructor, always encouraging young students to become more aware of the enormous world around them." Via Amazon.
Tim has graciously offered a copy of Bosley Builds a Treehouse to one of my readers just in time for Christmas. Perfect for parents, grandparents, caregivers, and classrooms. Thank you Tim for reaching out to me to review this cute book. I am already looking forward to your next book. I highly recommend this book to all your little readers. I think by now you all know I love anything lemon. Check out my
Pinterest boards and I have one dedicated to All Things Lemon. Right now I have 119 pins and I am adding to that everyday. This recipe was shared in my latest column in
Chesapeake Style Magazine. I shared a really great story in the column and I would love it if you would go and check it out and let me know what you think. I am really enjoying writing my column. My dream growing up was to be a writer. With this column I am living a little bit of that dream. I can not express the sense of pride I feel when I see my name in print on something I wrote. Really makes it worth while when I have so many compliments on it. Stay tuned at the bottom of this post for the giveaway details. You do not want to miss this one!

When I made this lemonade my kids were so excited. They couldn't wait to taste it. Of course, they have to wait until I photographed it. Well this particular time my camera battery died right in the middle of me taking the pictures. So I had to put the battery on charge and they couldn't touch this until I was done. I know, according to my son, that was torture. I charged the battery just enough to get the last few shots. Turns out I liked the ones I took before the battery died.

Lemonade
1 cup sugar
1 cup water (for the
simple syrup)
1 cup lemon juice
3 to 4 cups cold
water (to dilute)
Make simple syrup by
heating the sugar and water in a small saucepan until the sugar is dissolved
completely. While the sugar is
dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for
one cup of juice. Add the juice and the
sugar water to a pitcher. Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the
desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. If the lemonade is a little
sweet for your taste, add a little more straight lemon juice to it. Serve with
ice, sliced lemons. Enjoy!

I have an awesome giveaway for you today. I was going to make a special recipe to go along with the giveaway but I just couldn't wait any longer to share. Besides if I hold onto to this any longer I might want to keep it for myself!
I am giving away one set of this lemon meringue pie necklace/charm and earrings. These are locally hand made by Amy Basye. I had the pleasure of doing a craft show with her back in the fall and first saw these. She recently set up at a local farmers market and I happened to see some pictures posted on facebook of some of the vendors there (I did not attend) and I saw these and contacted her immediately. I just love all her stuff and she has a talent for making these. Trust me, she had so many things to choose from I had a hard time deciding on what to get. Check out these BLT Sandwiches. They are just too stinking cute. Guess what, because I love you all so much, I will be giving away a set of these also!
