Happy Fall Y'all!
It is officially fall and my favorite time of the year. I am a baker at heart so I do a lot of baking during the fall season.
Before the baking season kicks off its time to go through the spices and discard of any that need replacing. Since I do a lot of holiday baking, the apple pie spice and pumpkin pie spice are usually the first two I need to replace.
Even though I buy spices throughout the year, the apple pie spice and the pumpkin pie spice are the harder ones for me to buy. Just because they can be pricey and I go through a lot of it during the fall.
I kept telling myself that I really need to make my own spices because it would save me so much money. So I finally did just that and I am so glad I did. Making your own is so easy and it makes so much more than those little containers you can get in the store. Now let's get our fall baking on!
