Sloppy Joes are one of those recipes that bring you right back to your mama's kitchen with one bite.
We all have that one recipe that will transport us back to a special time in our childhood. These sloppy joes are one of those recipes for me.
Okay let's be real here, you can make sloppy joes out of a can but with a few ingredients you already have on hand you will never want to open that can again.
This crock pot version is just as easy to make but its cooked low and slow to allow all those flavors to come together.
When done, it has a ton of amazing flavor. The best part is there is usually leftovers meaning tomorrow nights dinner is all done too.
You can serve this on a bun or as an open faced sandwich. Either way is just as delicious. Our family enjoys it open faced. How does your family like eating sloppy joes?
