Crock Pot Sloppy Joes

Delicious slow cooked Sloppy Joes recipe that the entire family will enjoy.
prep time: 10 minscook time: 4 hourtotal time: 4 hours and 10 mins

ingredients

2 lbs ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 Tablespoon cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
½ green pepper, diced
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
salt & pepper, to taste

instructions

In a large pan, cook ground beef with onion and green peppers. Cook until no longer pink, drain. Place ground beef into a 5 – 6 quart slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Cook on low for 4 – 6 hours. Serve on hamburger buns.
